Local healthcare SEO can be very competitive. While Lone Star Pain Medicine did have some traction in their local city when they began services with WebTek, they wanted to further improve their SEO visibility for their top services. Additionally, they also wanted to reach additional potential patients in the surrounding neighborhoods. On their website, Lone Star Pain Medicine faced challenges with sub-optimal load times, gaps in content, and limited content optimization.


In terms of technical SEO, our initial audits indicated slow-page time. To improve this metric, WebTek made site optimizations, including changing the image slider to a hero image and optimizing the file size of other images across the site. Additionally, we worked with our development team to remove excess code from the site.

A review of their initial on-site SEO showed opportunities to improve the Conversion Rate as well as gaps in their content. To address the conversion rate on the site, we made adjustments to the home page layout, added additional calls to action, and improved contact page experience. For the website content, WebTek’s created new content to build new pages to target specific pain type and treatment keywords that had notable search volume. Supplemental content, such as blog posts and guest post for link building, were utilized to support these new pages and help with their initial traction on SERPs. Additional content optimization on the site was also conducted as needed.


We’ve been working with Lone Star Pain Medicine for over four years now. In just their first year with us, we were able to increase organic sessions to their website by 222% compared to the previous year. This growth in organic traffic stemmed from improving the number of keywords in the top 10 from 56 to 71 in the same time period. Organic traffic accounted for around 73% of all website traffic for this first year.

Between the increase in organic traffic and our CRO optimizations on the site, LSPM saw an impressive 463% more conversions year-over-year. Lone Star Pain Medicine is continuing to do well through their second year of services, with 44% more organic sessions for 2022 in comparison to the end of last year.
