Atman therapy is built on the idea of working with the person as a whole, body, mind and spirit. Their sessions, directed by founder Giulia, guide a person, helping them to understand and acknowledge their discomfort, and then to find alignment with their essence. The challenge
The website is the centerpiece for any online business presence. Ultimately, this is what Atman Therapy and Giulia needed -- a place where potential clients could discover and learn about their variety of Yoga and meditation therapies. We needed a design that communicated the different services Atman offers, their distinctive philosophy, and offered a variety of conversion opportunities, all while maintaining an engaging user experience.
The Results
Relaxing. Therapeutic. Energizing. Personal.
Inspired by Atman’s philosophies, these ideas inspired our final design for their website. A cool color palette of violets and blues were predominately used to instill calmness on site visitors. In contrast, small accents of orange brought forth visual energy from relaxing colors of the background. To make the website feel personal, we used photos of Giulia herself in a variety of Yoga and flow poses. Not only do these images clearly communicate the services Atman offers, they offer an innate connection between the site visitor and Giulia.
To ensure a positive user experience, we allowed the homepage to focus on establishing the brand identity. We only placed one contact form at the bottom of the page. Other website content about Atman’s services, events, and online offerings was organized into the main navigation. This design choice allowed for a clean presentation of content that also allowed site visitors to easily explore the site as they wanted.
