In an industry so closely tied to colors and designs evoking a healthy environment and sunlight, standing out requires creativity. The SunQuest brand needed a fresh look, one that helped them to simultaneously stand out from their competitors, while still showing what their products can do for the planet while saving money. With designs needed for a new website, advertisements, and sales material, we needed to bring our creative A-game to ensure Sunquest’s unique branding.
The cornerstone of our design efforts was the new Sunquest Website. We leaned into the “space age” aesthetic for our design to convey to visitors that Sunquest’s products use leading solar technology. This was coupled with images of the earth and clouds to call back ecological and solar imagery commonly found in the industry. From a development perspective, we mad ethe site fully responsive, created product videos, and included SEo friendly elements to ensure a successful and positive user experience.
For the Graphic design elements, we created two separate campaigns. The first, called Sunny the Bear, emphasized how the Sunquest products were beneficial for both the user and the environment. Through its visual humor and predominantly white color scheme, the design offers a memorable add that stands against other solar advertisements.
The second campaign turned to a purple, or more accurately, ultraviolet color scheme. Not only did the UV campaign utilize a striking color for the solar industry, it also referenced back to the product technology utilizing UV light. Through several different images, each primarily tinted using the branded purple, we were able to create a visually diverse set of promotional materials that still maintained a consistent brand identity.
