The Digital Marketing Intern will help with SEO strategy tasks in a client-facing role. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Account Manager, this person will have a working knowledge of SEO and will be tasked with keeping up to date on trends within the industry and applying that knowledge in their day-to-day activities. Our internship has three legs, which will help you learn about everything at a high level, and gravitate toward the work you love. We really believe in helping you find the role that makes you happy, and creating lasting relationships (both employees and clients).
You would get to touch on three areas:
1 – client services: interface with clients, work with strategy, prepare reports, get Google Analytics certified
2 – fulfillment: get to try first hand all the things behind the scenes that make the magic happen, get Google Adwords certified
3 – business development: use learned marketing skills and strategies to create new clients for webtek, and get a cut of any new business you drive, including clients increasing budget; this can be whatever you are most comfortable with and passionate about… lead gen, community outreach, networking, educational and speaking engagements, social media content and more. Not a sales position
Qualifications
• Adequate knowledge in Digital Marketing or related field
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Interest in Digital Marketing, Business, or New Media
This position is an internship with potential to lead to a full time position.
